Katawa Shoujo

Katawa Shoujo is a 2012 Visual Novel created by 4 Leaf Studios, where you play as a transfer student who's trying to come to terms with the fact and stigma of being a disabled student in a school for the disabled. There you meet 5 girls each with their own disabilities and ways of dealing with it. Although there are a few NSFW scenes, it's not the main focus and is only present in specific scenes which can be toggled off.

The Visual Novel was created by 4 Leaf Studios, a studio which was formed by a select few anons of 4Chan, after the concept of Katawa Shoujo was thrown on the forums on 2007. Development started chaotically, with anons throwing ideas of how the game would play out, and what scenes should play out and all that. But after a while, a few people stepped up to formally develop the game in a orderly manner. The group would then go by 4 Leaf Studios, named after the clover symbol of 4Chan. After 5 years of development hell, Katawa Shoujo was released on January 4th, 2012 on the PC for free, which it still is today. Afterwards, 4 Leaf Studios would disband to work on their own personal projects.

One of the two main types of manga distributed in the U.S.A. It refers to manga marketed to girls, as opposed to Shounen, which is aimed at boys.

People often assume that all Shojo is romance, but though this is usually the case, it is not always so.

In essence, the differnce between Shojo and Shounen is that while in Shounen the characters exist to further the plot, in Shojo the plot exists to further the characters.
Normally I hate Shojo, but Vampire Knight has enough action to keep me entertained.

noun: (Chicano) A similar word/use to shout out but with Mexican vernacular. Pronounce both syllables very short 'shou'+'ton' with a strong accent on the 'ton'. The extra 'on' means bigger-more.
I want to give a big shouton to my girlfriend in Cali.

A tall cuddly caramel geezer, with good teeth and a nice smile.

A person who isn't afraid to speak their mind. A person who goes against the grain. It may seem they are slightly controversial but they just say what people are really thinking.

A person who stands up for injustice.

A person who cares about his family and close friends.

A person who If you cross will take the beef to your dads yard.

A person where your wife deep down admires and fantasies about.

A person who is socially awkward but when getting to know them is actually a funny, cute and endearing.

A person who people love to hate and are jealous of because their family couldn't provide nor live the life of Shujon's family have.

A person who is straight up and says it how it is, which sometimes can come across being rude.

In conclusion Shujon is a well rounded individual with good principles and a bigger heart. He is advanced amongst his peers because of life experiences and often stands alone rather than following by being a sheep.
