Resident Evil 4

A game that apparently, the owners of definitions 10, 11, 13, and 14 have not played. For starters, the graphics are terrific for the Gamecube. Maybe they didn't work so hard on the Ps2, but that's because the Ps2 sold out. (So did every other system, but that's besides the point) The storyline is o.k., but not the main feature of the game. (something Killer7 should've thought about...) The real draw to the game is the combat. It takes a intuitive new look on shooters that will be copied for years to come. Specifically, the 3rd-person aspect.

Many RE fanboys continue to hate the game for it's new look on the series. This is NOT what a normal person should think. A NORMAL person will enjoy the game for what it is, a shooter. and for all you fanboys out there, maybe Re4 was just a marketing ploy to get more money, so they could make more RE's like the old ones. (Maybe not Re5, and Re:UC but some...)

Personally, I loved the game. It had a killer draw, some kickass graphics, and some amazing guns. A veteran gamer will enjoy this game (If you haven't already played it) and even newbs to the series will get a kick out of it. But there will still be some fanboys who are SO opposed to it that they refuse to play it, I say to them this: To each their own. You don't want to play Resident Evil's most successful game to date, fine by me. Have fun with Dead Aim.
Me:I like Resident Evil 4 because of it's great graphics, creepy atmosphere, and nice guns.
RE Fanboy: I hate RE4 because it departed from the original mechanics of the series!!!
Me:Don't you have a life outside of RE?
RE Fanboy: Yeah, I also play kingdom hearts, and-
Me: *Pulls out Handcannon and blows him to shit.*

Resident Evil 4

A great, kickass game that all the resident evil fanboys can't stop bitching about because it changed it's style. Look dumbasses, the other 4 (Resident Evil 1, 2, 3, Code Veronica being the 4th) were great, but you can't expect Capcom and the RE team to not change the series' style because you don't want them to. They changed the RE formula so it could appeal to a bigger playing crowd. And guess what? IT WORKED. It is extremely narrow-minded of you to not want the series to change just because you don't want it to.
Resident Evil 4 is NOT A DISGRACE to the RE series.

Resident Evil 4

By far the best gamecube game and resident evil game ever. good scares, awesome gore, great script, and unbelivable sound and graphics make this the most breath taking graphical and action game for gamecube. it fucking owns an di fucking love it.
Best game ever for gamecube. By far. Resident Evil 4 is the greatest.

resident evil 4

The best resident evil game ever. Your weapons have lasers for u to aim and blow guys' heads off. The AI is smarter than some slow dumass zombie. There are also tight unlockable weapon as well as 2 minigames after beating the game. Takes about 20 hours to beat and has great replay value. It is worth the money.
Resident evil 4 has no zombies this doesn't look scary...ahh shit a chainsaw whore just chopped my head off. DAYUM!

-1.Game information
Taking over producer duties from Hiroyuki Kobayashi is Jun Takeuchi (director of Onimusha, character designer for the original Resident Evil and animator for Resident Evil 2). Several staff members who also worked on the original Resident Evil are involved in development. According to Takeuchi, the game will utilize the same gameplay model introduced in Resident Evil 4, while implementing thematics from the original Resident Evil into the game. The game will be a full-fledged sequel taking place after the events in Resident Evil 4, and is said to be a major turning point in the series' overall storyline.

No official release date has been announced for the game. The game will have online features that have yet to be disclosed.

It is noted that Resident Evil 5 and Devil May Cry 4 were not shown at E3 2006. Capcom supposedly reasoned that the company doesn't want to unveil the titles until they are available in a playable form. This could mean that it will be sometime before any new information will be released, especially since it was not at the Tokyo Game Show 2006.
-2.Storyline
The alleged protagonist of Resident Evil 5.No details have been released about the game's storyline other than the fact that it is set after the events of Resident Evil 4 and that it will take place in a desert setting, similar to the film Black Hawk Down.

The main character's identity has not been officially released, although an information leak has confirmed that Resident Evil 5 protagonist is going to be Chris Redfield2. Play magazine (An independent magazine based in the UK) said they are 99.9% certain it will turn out to be Chris. The only other name the mag, as well as Gamepro Magazine put forward as a possibility was Carlos Oliveira, since the game is reported to take place in a South American country.

It has been rumored that the game is shaping up to be a true sequel to Resident Evil Code: Veronica. Although with the demise of Flagship's Noboru Sugimura, the team itself will be handling the story. Keiji Inafune, who served as promotional producer for Resident Evil 2 is overseeing the project; he served as the executive producer for the PlayStation 2 version of Resident Evil 4 as well.3
-3.Weapons and gameplay
Although enemies were faster in Resident Evil 4 than in previous Resident Evil games, the Japanese teaser trailer shows enemies that are now even faster and capable of running at least as quickly as a human, à la 28 Days Later making them more deadly enemies.
According to Play magazine, the enemies are shaping up to be a cross between a Ganado and a Zombie. They speak in a unique language to communicate with each other like the Ganados in RE4, but are resistant to gunshots and have a thirst for blood like the zombies in the classic RE games.
Play has also said that according to the producers the temperature will play a big role, with the player having to find a spot to cool down. The heat will make it harder to shoot due to hallucinations and mirages appearing and the main character being unstable. Additionally, the magazine suggests the presence of more interactive environments that are vital to the player's survival

resident evil 4

Though a lot of people bitch about a departure from the original resident evil trilogy, this game incorporates a new and fresh twist to the series. The writers leave the concept of the T-virus and the G-virus behind, and instead pursue the story of a religious cult in rural Spain that have resurrected body controlling parasites called Las Plagas.

Leon S. Kennedy, the protagonist of Resident Evil 4, is the main character in this game. As Leon, you will have to navigate through a village, a castle, and an island, all while protecting the president's daughter Ashley Graham (who for some reason cannot hold a damn gun and help you out in the game) and while resisting corruption from one of the parasites that was injected into him in the early part of the story.

The game, is absolutely amazing, and is a must to anyone that owns a Nintendo Gamecube, PS2, or Wii.
Dude 1: man just had a dream about humans that had been mutated into either mindless savages, giants, partially invisible insects, and regenerators that can heal themselves!

Dude 2: thats the epitome of Resident Evil 4 man
