The act of offering a "conditional olive branch" in a damaged
relationship. It is the transition from total detachment to cautious vulnerability. It represents the moment one person decides to stop being the only one "breaking the ice" and demands that trust be earned through consistency rather than just words. It is not an act of weakness but a final invitation for the other person to step up.
I can trust you, if you want me to... is a consent to give it another chance together. Given the circumstances to date there's nothing to base unconditional trust on... when an invitation is given its genuine... to test iced waters, somebody has to break the ice. Trust builds with time just as love does with
understanding and consistency. Its not that i dont want to do it BUT will only for your sake. Its more that you need to give me the love,
understanding, consistency in actions (if you want me) to build that trust back.
“I’m tired of the back-and-forth, so I’m giving the 410 protocol. The ice is broken but
if you want to stay
in the water, you have to start swimming. My love and trust when given are always
exclusive and genuine.
