uber-sellouts

Bands like fall out boy are classified as uber sell outs, some people are really to dumb to understand that unless your rich and have nothing better to do, people start bands to make some money and get their music heard, just because you have a record come out on a major label, doesn't make you a sell out, but when you supposed to be say pop-punk and you do ad's for aeropostale, (like fall out boy did) that is a true sellout. Bands like avenged sevenfold and something corporate are not sellout because they are on a major label, they have good enough music to get heard.
fall out boy and panic at the disco are uber-sellouts who have no musical talent!!

One who changes their art in order to gain fame or money. IE Blink 180-Who, Sum-41, Good Charlote, and others. No Doubt is NOT one of these.
Man, Blink-182 are such sellouts, I mean, just look at them.

1. When a formally good artist or group of some sort stops producing their stuff for their fans, but rather for the money.

2. When another artist of group becomes too good for themselves and no longer gives a shit about their fanbase.

Some people will claim that using the term 'sellout' for a band they used to like is not being a 'true fan' as you're not listening to the band for the music. This is not true at all because if a band sells out they will change their music (for the worse).

One who sings about being unique, and "not putting on makeup" because "that's not who they want to be" ... and yet while they sing this, they are wearing lipstick, have about 30 bracelets, a necklace, and highlighted hair.

Don't give me wrong... I'm all for this "inner beauty" crap, or decorating your person with makeup and the like... but making it seem like appearance means nothing while you've modified your appearance? C'mon.
See Hope Partlow.
Such a nice voice, too. Shame to waste it on crap she thinks the public wants to hear.

Google her name and click the "official website" for more details.
