Vocabulistics

The study of vocabulary. The one who studies vocabulary is referred to as a vocabulist.
Groot: “I am Groot”
Peter Quill: “wow. That’s just as fascinating as the first 89 times you told me that. What is wrong with Giving Tree here?”
Rocket: “well, he don’t know talking good like me and you, so his vocabulistics is limited to ‘I’ and ‘am’ and ‘Groot,’ specifically in that order.

(VO-CAB-YOU-LISH-US)

1. To have an astonishing vocabulary.

2. To quickly make up a great-sounding word.
"Did he just say "Nullify"? Ugh! He's so Vocabulitious!

"Cause Shakespeare made up his own words. I could have a vocabulossus as well. See? Not that hard."

Somebody who has a vocabulary with a lot of big words that not a lot of people know that could be considered “big” or complex.

vocabugasm 

Noun: A biological and emotional response to a spoken or written vocabulary word often involving back-row Asian students. Characterized by utterances of "Oh yes... say it slower and deeper.... almost there..." Et cetera. Connoted the pharmacy-student's sub-vernacular as creepy, inappropriate and just plain wrong.
Ironically, Angelo had a vocabugasm when he heard the word "debauchery."
