Polywog
A person who is new to polyamory, or a "baby" when it comes to polyamorous experience. It is separate from being polyamorous because it implies that someone else has to hold your hand the whole way. Some polyamorous people don't want to teach the basics, and want someone who is ready to be their equal, a true partner.
For reference, a polyamorous experiences includes having multiple partners, or a partner with other partners, or something else that involves the coordination, acceptance, and shared love between multiple people. There are many different shapes in which that takes form, and depends how you define your experience. I think that when someone wants a partner with "Poly Experience" they want someone who knows how to communicate, share, handle their own and others' jealousy (as in working through it in a healthy way), and of course, respect and listen.
Listening is a tough skill and if you don't realize that it's more than just hearing words and pumping out responses, you probably aren't a very good listener.
