i showed you that

When an individual reposts a link, quote, pictures, etc. on Facebook without crediting the person from which they were originally shown the material. The original poster usually comments the newly reposted material saying "umm...i showed you that" complete with nuances of irritation and a "wtf" feeling since you did not credit their name.

Usually used in cases of extremely viral, common, and clichéd material; therefore, a shout out is generally not expected.

It showed up on my news feed

What you say when someone accuses you of Facebook stalking. Since it just showed up on your news feed, you couldn't have been secretly reading their profile, right?
Joe: Man, that party last night was sick...

Mike: Oh, that one you went to at 9:23 pm at Bob's house?

Joe: Whoa, how did you know that? You aren't stalking me, are you?

Mike: ...it showed up on my news feed.

Truman showed

Getting truman showed, or simply "truman showing" is a form of negative odd occurrences in which an event happens at a moment in time that benefits you.

The phrase is named after the 1998 movie "The Truman Show" starring Jim Carrey.
"This traffic appeared the exact day that I am late for work! I have never gotten traffic! I can't believe I'm being truman showed today!"

"I am about to get to the last level of this video game, but my mom is telling me to get off right before I get to it, and if I get off, I'll lose all my progress. I'm being truman showed!"
