A teenager or young adult who has never worked for their own livelihood and views the world through a lens of entitlement, often expecting their parents to finance their lifestyle. Workies typically struggle to understand or respect the value of labor, looking down on those who work for a living and failing to grasp the realities of financial independence.
"That kid is a total workie—his parents pay for everything, and he acts like having a job is beneath him."
