Pleopard

a creature of might and magic, the pleopard is NOT a cross between a puma and a leopard. That's a pumapard (stupid pumapard followers).
Pleopards are said to die when someone openly states that he or she doesn't believe in pleopards. However if the same person claps three times loudly while near the dead pleopard's body, this amazing feline will spring back to life instantly. Obviously this seems to be correlated with the Fairy mithology; indeed some historians believe the fairies ripped this off in hopes of infusing their own fad with some street cred.
Of course, humans ability to kill them whenever in earshot has made the pleopard extremely distrustful of our kind, alas, to find evidence not hoaxed of their species is very difficult.
