Proship 

A term primarily used in fandom spaces. It is used to describe someone who respects others for their fictional pairings irregardless of their own feeling towards said pairing. People who identify themselves as proship (aka proshippers) may use the emoji combo 🌈 + 🍖 to indicate to others that they are proship. Interchangeable with the term "anti-anti".

Person 1: I don't personally like Bakudeku.
Person 2: Huh? I thought you were proship?
Person 1: I am. I just don't like it lmao, but i won't harass anyone over it.

Somebody who doesn't harass others over their favoured character pairings or if they enjoy darker fiction. They're of the mindset that you can enjoy something without endorsing it in real life.

The opposite of a Proshipper is an 'anti-shipper', somebody who believes your taste in fiction determines your morals. They tend to harass and dox people over the internet for something as trivial as a fiction character ship.

Person 1: "Hey are you a Proshipper?"
Person 2: "Yeah man, people can enjoy whatever they want in fiction."
Person 1: "Sweet."

interchangeable with “anti-anti,” proship (or proshipper) is a label used by people in fandoms to describe individuals who are—as the name suggests—pro-shipping. proshippers are often misunderstood and labeled as “pedophiles” and the like, but in no way do (most) proshippers support irl (in-real-life) pedophilia (or other “problematic” things such as incest or bestiality). instead, proshippers are anti-harassment, and defend the right to creative freedom. their argument is that there is a fine line between fiction and reality that one should learn to differentiate.

Proshipping, A.K.A comshipping, is when someone supports/ships "problematic" relationship tropes. This can be anything, between a ship that's deemed toxic by the community or shipping siblings, age-gaps, or anything else that isn't socially acceptable. A lot of proships/comships like to use the 🌈🍖(A.K.A "rainbow meaties".),🍋🌈,🐜🚫("antis dni")

Many people use this as a coping mechanism, for trauma they had relating to the relationship they're shipping. Most people that use this term ship problematic stuff.

Proship is a term commonly confused with comship, to put a basis to it, proshipping is a moral, comshipping is an action, no problematic ship is a proship, under that label/context proship is invalid. *You cannot use proship to describe a ship, as proshipping is a moral that thinks that anyone can ship anything, it is NOT an action.*

Proship is a term that doesn't quite exist; as a Proshipper is someone who is for shipping any ship. However, proship could possibly be an action though I don't see it that way. You could say "I proship." in place of "I'm a Proshipper"... possibly. But keep in mind, if Proshipping is the moral that "Anyone can ship anything!" then proship cannot be used to describe what a actual COMSHIP is.

Person A: So, you proship?
Person B: No, I'm a comshipper.
Person A: The fuck is a comshipper?
Person B: A comshipper is someone who ships complex ships.
Person A: I thought proshippers did that?
Person B: It's a little complex at first, but proshippers just believe that you CAN ship those ships, they don't have too.
Person A: So... It's a moral... and comshipping is an action of actually shipping those?
Person B: Yeah, pretty much.
Person A: Okay.. so can a comshipper be a proshipper?
Person B: Not all proshippers are comshippers, but all comshippers are proshippers, yes.
