Noun. An abbreviation of "non-binary."

Usually seen typed or written online.
Synonymous with and pronounced the same as "enby."

Sometimes "nb" is used to abbreviate "non-binary," which is not entirely correct. "Nb" is already the abbreviation for "non-black;" so in order to distinguish between the two meanings, "nby" or "enby" is much more encouraged and should be used in place of "nb" when referring to non-binary people in shorthand.

Could be used in a social media bio, i.e.:

Rocky, (he/they), nby 23

Or when texting or posting something, i.e.:
"Hey, just letting yk that Sam is nby, and uses they/them."

"Oh ok mb, ty for reaching out."
