Admiralled

Verb. To be admiralled: Promoted to a position where you are next in line to be blamed, fired or even snuffed out.

Taken from Darth Vader's proclivity to force-choke Admirals who had not performed their duties satisfactorally, and promote the next man in line to Admiral... hence condemning him to a similar fate when the next mistake was made.

"You have failed me for the last time Admiral Ozzel... choking... You are in command now Admiral Piett."
Oh Christ, I've just been admiralled up to Senior Account Director, that's my career finished when the sales figures come out next month.

admirable

An underhanded, snarky way to insult someone who's acted grossly selfish, or anyone you really hate; short for admirable cunt.
"You, sir, are admirable."

"I don't know if I admire anyone as much as I admire you, you're just so admirable."

Admirable

Something that leaves you in awe of somebody.
What the guy did was almost admirable. I could lie and say i was in awe, or that i did have a great admiration of him to gain something from it like many people do, but i'm not gonna do that if I'm really not.

What the guy did was almost admirable. I could lie to him and say that I was in awe of him, or had a great admiration (or respect for) of him to gain something out of it, but I'm not gonna do that if I'm really not in awe of him.
