2) Creatures mainly sighted near the Bay Area in California have been given the title "Hafsol" (for unknown reasons). The Hafsol has become a west coast phenomenon due to its unique skin texture. Local citizens of Santa Rosa claim it sometimes resembles styles of the 1940s, sometimes Native American, sometimes crocodilian. Reportedly, there have also been sightings in Hawaii. Allegations of the occasional flock to Japan during the warmer seasons have yet to be confirmed or denied.
