Wannabe you know what. Usually white and middle or upper middle class. Wants to be from the hood because they think it makes them look cool. They often date black girls and think having a black girlfriend makes them an honorary black person.

Jamal: My uncle lives in Philly. Which part are you from?
James: Brookhaven.
Jamal: that’s a burb, just what I thought white boy, you’s just a wigga.
James: My black girlfriend is from the west side if that counts.

When a lesbian (usually butch) dates a single mom.

Seth: My step dad is picking me up.
Georgie: I thought your mom was dating a girl.
Seth: yeah but she likes us to call her our step dad.

Rural ghetto

A poor area of a small town. Lots of mobile homes, tobacco, and meth. Contrary to inner city ghettos, which are majority African American and have smaller groups of Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Italians, Polish people, Vietnamese people and Laotians and is majority democrat, rural ghettos consist of poor white Anglo Saxon Americans and is mostly republican.

Keisha: I grew up in the Boston ghetto.
Macy: well I grew up in a rural ghetto in Alabama.
