slag 

Put down. This is the correct slang definition of 'slag'. It's not to be confused with 'scag', which is another name for heroin or a slut trash bitch.

Rather than beating the shit out of his friend for slagging his girlfriend and calling her a scag, he bought some scag and shot up.

jocking 

Hyping up a band or a movie that is underground until it gets so big that people start despising it. The term originates from how disc jockeys promote new bands into the mainstream, much to the chagrin of the original fans.

Bob: Donnie Darko is so awesome!

John: It was decent until everyone started jocking it!
