A desperate way of saying help. Usually used in emergency situations where mispronunciation due to events occurs. Notorious for use in lolcat pictures.

Ex. Tom: Shit! I'm drowning!

Bob: What do I do?!!

Tom: Halp!

Noob on CoD
Nub: wtf man! halp me u frking nub piece of crap!

Also, can be used as a word towards women as a way to request an emergency sandwich.
ex. (stomach growls) Guy: HALP!
