This describes people and activities which resemble a good brother or something a good brother would do. It includes favors, good deeds, trust, patience, and generosity. It is derived from the idea of brotherly love.

When a man attempts to be chivalrous but is shut down for it and thusly prevented from being chivalrous, or made to feel bad about being chivalrous.

"Don't even try being nice to her, she's a chivalblocker"

chivalrape

When someone, usually a male, is extremely polite and overly trying to be chivalrous when it isn't wanted or consented. This could be forcibly carrying your books, opening doors and pulling out your chair in order to position himself as a possible suitor.

"that guy totally chivalraped me, I didn't think it was a date but he kept opening doors for me and pulling out my chair!"
