The social phenomenon when an individual posts silly and banal pictures and comments on Facebook, typically with the hopes of achieving gushing indulgence from so-called “friends”, and often instigating annoyance and exasperation in the inadvertent viewer/reader, who having seen the post has no other recourse but to reply accordingly.

A particularly extreme Mercury Retrograde period, such that even trivial communication fails spectacularly. Packages are delivered incorrectly, e-mailed messages are lost to the electronic void, and civilization crumbles as confused citizens squint, confused and helpless, at text messages that were sent hours late to the wrong person.
