Magahi

The Magahi language, an indian language which is also known as Magadhi, is a language spoken in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal states of eastern India.

Magadhi Prakrit was the ancestor of Magadh, from which the latter's name derives. It has a very rich and old tradition of folk songs and stories. It is spoken in many districts of Bihar .

Gaya

Gaya is a holy city beside the Falgu River, in the northeast Indian state of Bihar.

It’s known for 18th-century Vishnupad Mandir, a riverside temple with an octagonal shrine. Close by, ancient Mangla Gauri Temple is set on a hilltop. To the north, Hindu devotees bath in a Brahma Kund pond before honoring their deceased ancestors atop Pretshila Hill. To the south lies the Hindu pilgrimage center of Bodh Gaya.

Bodh Gaya is famous for Mahatma buddha's Mahabodhi temple . It is most famous buddhist pilgrimage in world , it the place where Siddhartha Gautama or Mahatma Buddha , the spiritual teacher who became known as the Mahatma Buddha, is said to have attained enlightenment .

Patna

One of the oldest continuously inhabited places ( city ) in the world .

Patna was founded in 490 BCE by the king of Magadha.

Ancient Patna, known as Pataliputra, was the capital of the Magadha Empire under the Haryanka, Nanda, Mauryan, Shunga, Gupta and Pala empires.

Pataliputra was a seat of learning and fine arts.

Patliputra ( present day Patna) is home to many astronomers and scholars including Aryabhata, Vātsyāyana and Chanakya .

Its population during the Maurya period (around 300 BCE) was about 400,000.

Patna served as the seat of power, political and cultural centre of Indian subcontinent during the Maurya and Gupta empires.

With the fall of Gupta Empire, Patna lost its glory. It was revived again in the 17th century by the British as a centre of international trade. Following the partition of Bengal presidency in 1912, Patna became the capital of Bihar and Orissa Province.

The modern city of Patna is situated on the southern bank of river Ganges. The city also straddles the rivers Sone, Gandak and Punpun.

Patna is developing very fast and very soon going tobe considered a metro city .

The Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain pilgrimage centres of Vaishali, Rajgir, Nalanda, Bodh Gaya, and Pawapuri are nearby and Patna City is also a sacred city for Sikhs as the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, was born here.

Bhojpuri is an Indo-Aryan language or Indian language spoken in the North-Eastern part of India and the Terai region of Nepal. It is chiefly spoken in western parts of Bihar and eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh.

Bihar is one of the largest state of India . Bihar is rich in culture and many intellectual people originate from Bihar .

Bihar currently has 50 industrial areas and mega industrial parks. The state has identified Agriculture, IT, electronics, textiles and leather as it high priority sectors. Other manufacturing sectors, power – thermal and renewable, hospitality, communications and aquaculture are some of the fast-growing sectors in the state. India's first electric locomotive manufacturing facility, opened as a JV between Alstom and the Indian Railways, launched its first electric locomotive engine in March 2018.
