It's a Surname. One of the tribe in Zomi's (Paite ) community, residing Mostly in the North-Eastern part of India. They are few in number but largely known.

Zomi

A tribe living in the north-east part of India. Paite,Zou,Simte,Vaiphei,chin etc, are the various tribe forming the name "Zomi".
