STI

STI stands for symptom-targeted intervention, a focused, active, individualized approach that social workers can use to teach patients brief, effective ways to cope with difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviors using evidence-based interventions

Once a patient engages in the STI process, the clinician can help them with a number of specific concerns, from sleep and stress to pain management, relationships and mood management.
