queer 

1.- Strange, unusual, outside the "norm"

2.- A person who is not heterosexual. The word was meant as an insult but has been reclaimed by many non-heterosexual folks, many of whom use it to describe one another. It is still often considered rude to use the word "queer" in this context unless you self-identify as "queer".

horny, randy, desiring sex, in heat. Usually refers to a male.

To beat mercilessly, like the police beat Rodney King. Past tense "kinged", present tense "to king" not "kinging".

dyke 

A word used to refer to Lesbians. Originally meant to be a slur, it has been "reclaimed" by many Lesbians who might use it to identify themselves of other Lesbians. It is considered rude to use the word "Dyke" unless you self-identify as one.

A type of water-stopping dam.
