Early to mid-Twentieth Century term for Spittoon. Rhyming slang, I assume.

Her smouldering butt hissed as it landed in the full-to-overflowing gaboon.

Munting 

The VERTICAL dividing piece in a multi-paned window frame. (As opposed to the horizontal divider/s which are called mullions.)

The rock, having been partially deflected by the munting, cracked the window rather than shattering it entirely.

DAT slang for Digital Audio Technology equipment. Portable sound system used in film making.

From "The Blair Witch Project"– Heather speaking: "How are we going to get the DAT across … the log spanning the stream.
