1. When a player beats their opponent by 20-29 points in a basketball (sometimes football) video game.
2. When a player is winning by 20 before the game is over. However, the losing player has a shot at redemption to get it under 20 points in one offensive possession so that the game can continue as normal. If the losing player does not score in the offensive possession and the winning player gets possession back, the winning player has to ask if the losing player gives up and wants the result to be a 20 point "L" OR if they want to continue.
