The act of spraying hydraulic oil under pressure from a split hydraulic hose on industrial machinery. Less dramatic than a full Spaff, but considerably messier for whoever is standing nearby.
A catastrophic hydraulic oil leak caused by a burst hose on a Combilift or side loader forklift. Usually results in 40 litres of hydraulic oil instantly covering the warehouse floor while everyone nearby suddenly becomes an engineer.
“The main drivehoseburst and the combi did a full Spaff across aisle 4.”
