The reckless and careless girl that got in several severe accidents while driving intoxicated on ambien and alchohol or just drunk (and also got her dog hospitalized due to negligence) was the one posting public service announcements on all the electronic signs on a roadway about how people should drive safely or go to jail, drive drunk and lose their license, or to stay hydrated and not drive drowsy or sleepy, or preaching against cruelty to animals while asking for donations on TV ads. That's a lot like a mayor being on crack and having people arrested for smoking weed or any other drugs for that matter. Some people can poke fun at the double standard of another human and judge them, but don't want to get judged in return, they tell you don't judge me when they judge as much as everybody else.

A complaint to remember when someone says don't treat them like a kid, they don't like being treated like a kid.
He/she whined about adultification, or being treated as more adult than others, so deep down he/she must prefer to get treated like a kid, which is fine.

That pacifist was lucky they kept calling the police on him, they always knew he was weak beneath the surface, and he had to be a clown to boot.

Active in the community and originally from the community are two different things. Not everybody active in a community holds anything sacred there.
She thought of the community and the people there as something to walk all over, or overrun, but she wasn't going to tell any of them that directly.

Movies often stretch the truth about something quite a bit to make it more entertaining than it actually is, since something closer to reality might bore an audience in 5 minutes. People are not really too interesting most of their lives, except just after they are born and just before they die, and roles/characters in movies lead people to believe otherwise a lot of the time.
Some people would think Lowell was like Southie by watching a movie. It's got it's parts that some would unkindly describe as run down areas, and it might be blue collar, and there are problems everywhere, but calling it the inner city is a stretch. Some of the roles people show people are not the exact reality of what something, somewhere, or someone is really like, they can be misleading.

Her labor day party was hoppin, she served a little surf and turf (or had someone do it for her) and as always, there was a crowd.

Sweden is now giving themselves a hard time because other countries do after being the country that didn't give in to the mass panic other countries did give in to. They are now convincing themselves they did something wrong because they are outnumbered by countries that gave in to mass panic, and thought the Swedes should do the same.
It's no wonder Sweden is neutral, the way they let other countries push them around, from policy to everything else. If you're going to do something you might as well keep sticking with it. The economy isn't good anywhere, so of course it's not going to be good in Sweden either. They'll have to fight just like any other country to keep sticking with what they're doing. They don't think they are better than anyone.
