Performance diminishing drug

A drug that does the opposite of enhance performance, such as marijuana.
Someone from the other team told the guy that if he smoked ganja before the race, he would be more clearheaded, faster, stronger, and to his suprise, it took him most of the day to finish. Nobody told him that marijuana was a performance diminishing drug.

Performance diminishing drug

Some of these younger folks seem quicker to change the guard than people from earlier in their generation or generations before. Michael Phelps had longetivity to his Olympic runs. Being unselfish isn't a bad thing, a lot of these folks will be together as a team for years to come, but just like vets can learn from the rookies, where would the Olympics be without the vets?
Vets do more than just usher in the new during the Olympics, so hopefully appreciation for them isn't lost for something newer that seems more momentarily exciting.

Difficult

Making life difficult has already been tried to convince people to wear masks. So the people that aim to make life already know they're going to get the same result since they're going to try the same thing yet again, except with vaccines instead of masks.
Making life difficult is going to get fought until the end by at least one person, no matter the excuse the people doing it use to justify what they're doing.
Why take the risk of getting infected by a potent virus if you're unvaccinated? Life is worth losing, and it's not up to you when you die or get infected, and at one time, before the pandemic, taking risks was part of life. That didn't get put on pause, reset, or anything else for some people, they're going to stick with it and keep going. That might not be a good enough answer for everyone ordering mandates or pushing people to get in vaccination lines, but it's one of many possible answers.
What's the point of being alive if you never take a risk, even once in a while?
