An exclamation of surprise uttered on finding a topic or post with no replies yet. Used especially on high-traffic sites such as Slashdot where it is very rare to find an item that has not already been replied to.

smoot

A unit of distance first used for measuring the Harvard Bridge. It is named after an MIT fraternity pledge at Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, Oliver R. Smoot (class of 1962), who in October, 1958 was rolled head over heels by his fraternity brothers to measure the length of the bridge. The smoot is equal to his height: 5'7" (1.70 m).

auncle

An Aunt, or Uncle. This is used to refer to both aunts and uncles collectively, or singularly a person who is either an aunt or an uncle.
Collective:
My auncles are coming over for the weekend, we're all going to see the new exhibit.

Singular:
Didn't she have an auncle on her mom's side of the family?
