hooompty

A variation of "hoopty." Sometimes used by people to try and dress up the term "hoopty" to sound more endearing, but in fact, the intent is the same: to disparage a well-worn vehicle, particularly one that has been much loved, as really being a piece of shit car.

My friend's husband drives a hooompty-wagon. She finds it incredibly embarrassing.
