George Floyd Jr decided to go to the corner store where a store clerk suspected he might have used a counterfeit $20 bill. Derek Chauvin, one of four police officers who arrived on the scene, knelt on George’'s neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds. His dying words, "I can't breathe," became a rallying cry.

After an altercation Trayvon was shot in the chest and died soon after.

Grant was on his way back home when a large confrontation broke out.
Two officers detained Grant and several other passengers on the platform at the Fruitvale Station. One officer kneed Grant in the head and forced Grant to lie face down on the platform. He was shot in the back and died shortly after.

On April 11, 2021, Daunte Wright, was driving to go see his girlfriend. He got pulled over because he had air refresher in his rear-view mirror, which is a traffic violation in Minneapolis. He was then shot by a cop during a traffic stop after the officer mistook her taser for a gun. After a concise battle with officials, Daunte was shot at close range. He then drove off a short distance, but his vehicle collided with another and hit a concrete barrier. Officers pulled Wright out of his car and administered CPR, but were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
