Coronavirus

The coronavirus isnt a bigger threat than a hurricane for the guy/girl that gets crushed by a tree. The threat is actually similar for most people, realistically a small number out of a large group wont survive, and the rest will be on edge and more cautious than usual for an extended period of time (since the threat is potential death), but they will make it through. The reality is you could be someone who takes all the extra precautions and the storm/disease still gets you, just like you could be someone who goes through your day to day routine unaffected by the storm/disease despite not changing anything. When it's your time to go, that's it, so what's the point in being afraid of the uncertain? Being a little more certain that no matter what happens to you that you will still at least be you until your final second is up instead of what the government tells you that you should be would do more people some good.
The coronavirus isnt a bigger threat than hurricanes, it's just a newer threat. Hurricanes have been around for a while (and have killed a lot of people over time), so people dont freak out about them even though they know the dangers that go with a hurricane, they know that lives can be lost.

Coronavirus

Sonething that has gotten everything and everyone off track/off course.
Not everyone likes being off course for a long time, there are people who will be saying thank god when they're no longer looking st Anthony Fauci's face, along with some of these scientists that get on TV and make people want to beat the shit out of somebody every time they open their mouth. People will one day forget the coronavirus, and the effect and changes some people had hoped to achieve by trying to scare everybody won't be realized. There never was a new normal, because there never was an original normal. Life is dysfunctional, then people die, it's simple enough.

Coronavirus

Almost like something out of the movie I am Legend or Contagion, the major difference between ife and a movie being that there never was any such thing as normal human behavior to deteriorate from. People's lives were always dysfunctional before the pandemic, as they always will be. The normal people who always seem to want things to change and function more together are the ones you want to watch.
The coronavirus isn't strong enough to keep eople from remaining as dysfunctional as they were before. They don't have to agree on anything, they don't have to get together or get anything together.

Something almost out of a movie like I am Legend or Contagion, though there was never any normal behavior to deviate from, people's lives were always dysfunctional before the virus. It's the normal ones that always seem to want to get people more together to form a more functional, appropriate union that you have to watch.
The coronavirus isn't strong enough to keep people from remaining dysfunctional by nature. They're going to be dysfunctional as long as they are human. They don't have to try and get more functional, appropriate, or together on anything.

The coronavirus isn't strong enough to keep eople from remaining dysfunctional by nature. They don't need to change their lives, and nothing around them needs to change either. Nobody has to be or get appropriate or functional, and the coronavirus won't change that.

Coronavirus

The coronavirus didn't change life for everybody. It was never strong enough, and life is worth losing.
If you know who doesn't want things to return to the way they were before the coronavirus, you know who's been benefitting the most from the country getting closer and closer to a totalitarian state.

Coronavirus

A way to get people used to following orders and dealing with sleazy people, instead of thinking for themselves.
The coronavirus is the perfect excuse to try and run anybody off who disagrees with you. Still, not everybody uses the excuse because they can. Not everybody is like that, not everybody tries to take advantage of every oppurtunity they can find to use it. Not everybody is an oppurtunist.
