Something you didn't know was there until its gone.
You started off with a lagoon, a sternwheeler, and even an island for the kids, something for everybody. Then somewhere somebody decides they want something to make their heart beat faster, and there goes your history and sightseeing, replaced by the Borg Assimilator. There's quite a few rides like it around, but it's more exciting at the time. Once you get a Borg Assimilator though, you don't get a sternwheeler or smurf houses back. You do the same with all your wooden roller coasters and you don't have to wonder where history, sightseeing, and the unique things about your area went.

Sternwheeler

Something you won't find in Lubbock, Texas, Phoenix, Arizona, most of California, Las Vegas, Dallas, Texas or even Winston Salem, NC. You won't find them because there are no sternwheelers to be found there. A sternwheeler is not unique enough for you though.
Nowadays people have to have slot machines and Texas hold em on board when they get on a sternwheeler, otherwise they will get bored in 15 minutes.

Smooth is not rough or hard, but a soft and easy kind of grace. A smooth person thinks they're better than you, but is so smooth you'd never know.
D.Crook is one smooth cat, he makes it look easy.

Pretentious

A guy who got into a fight with a bear and told you about it.
Pretentious guy- That wasn't really venison we had for dinner. That was the bear I beat to death with my bare hands and skinned alive so that my family and guest could eat well.
Unsuspecting guest-And look at you, you still have a head, that's awesome!
Pretentious guy-Yea well I'm not one to brag or show off, I prefer to let my guns do the talking. These guns on my shoulders took the bears life, now his bear mommy misses him.

An intravert seen as an extrovert is posing as an extrovert. Allowing people to see you as or representing yourself as an extrovert when you're not an extrovert is posing rather than being yourself.
There are a lot of characters on tv shows people think of as extroverted people in real life. The same goes for the news and different forms of media, the internet, music. A poser is somebody you think is a certain way naturally based on what you'be seen and heard through a media source.
