Break up letter

You gotta wonder what kind of people would buy a break up letter, even if it was the original. It doesn't seem like something the CIA would have any interest in, and most people don't have much, if any, interest in a conversation between two people they don't know, financial or otherwise.

Guy- I've been trying to get a few more break up letters to add to my collection at home, do you have anything like that?

Girl- Yea, actually I do, this one here is 700 dollars.

Guy- Sure, okay that's just what I had in mind.

Protests

Protests during the time of Catherine the Great didn't do anything. She called herself great, and had the wealth and power to keep anybody from disputing the claim by detracting from the title or calling her something like Catherine the Scum, Catherine the Loser, or Catherine the cunt no guy wants to be married to, so ultimately protests didnt get anything accomplished.

Protests get nothing done, they're just a lot of what politicians already do, talk a lot and get nothing done, a few people might die along the way, a lot of public space might get destroyed, that's about it. They're about the most pointless thing somebody could do with their frustration and anger, waste it. The people they're protesting usually try to get them even angrier, for their own amusement.

Never mind tea, you wonder what the going rate for information is China these days.

The girl never told anybody the price of tea or information in China, she just kept trying to sell them Feng shui bracelets.

Pacifist

Freak the mighty woulda told it like it is, if only he was still around.

Freak the mighty-Youre a pacifist, you pass on the fists.
Other kid stands up to freak the mighty Napoleonic bullying.

Sour

Something that isn't sweet, salty/spicy, or bitter.

He wasn't the type of pussy that was going to drink the milk once it went from sweet to sour.

Senior officer

Someone that doesn't get to where they are by mistake, or on accident.

Someone who makes a lot of mistakes or accidents on the job usually doesn't keep their job too long, so a senior officer without a history of making mistakes or doing things on accident wouldn't shoot somebody on accident either.

Calm

To try and get someone to stop resisting something.

The authority figure tried to calm people. The authority figure believed he/she was above his/her laws and did not have to behave in a certain way, but thought that other people did.
