pizza box 

A syle of chassis for a Personal Computer. So called because they are usually similar dimensions to a cardboard Pizza box from a take-away restaurant. Pizza Boxes are slimline in comparison to regular full-size PCs.

The Mega ST was the same as a regular Atari S computer except for the Pizza Box form-factor

crotch burner

A laptop computer that does not dissipate heat terribly well, causing discomfort in the lap or crotch of the user.

The new PowerBooks are extremely fast but unfortunately that makes them terrible crotch burners.

Synthetic music generated by the SID sound chip in a commodore 64 computer. The SID chip is a complete analogue synthesizer on a single intergrated circuit.
