a phrase meaning: to be clever enough to (correctly) detect and/or predict patterns of future social change in one's society, and adapt to said patterns before most other people around you.

during the 2016 presidential election campaign most higher ups in the democratic party didnt start listening to the winds of change until it was too late, but instead focused on perpetuating obama's legacy; no wonder they lost the election.

float like a butterfly, sting like a bee

( invented by and physically applied to Muhammad Ali ):

A) an adjective to describe 'gentle giants'

B) describes, a politically active ( but not a politician) people who have a particular sense of 'political sarcasm' and matching wit' when they discuss politics on an intellectual level

C) describes very few professional politicians who use the particular sarcasm identified above to not mince words when they ' say what they mean' and ' mean what they say'

While the phrase float like a butterfly, sting like a bee can be theoretically applied definition a), to Muhammad Ali, it can also be applied , definition b) , to not only Muhammad Ali, but also simple politically conscious people like myself . Definition c) can be applied not only to myself and Muhammad Ali ( to the extent that Muhammad Ali and I were never politicians) but should rarely epitomize, whereb it's deserved, professional politicians like Vladimir Putin who don't mince words when they speak, using definition b) instead to ' say what they mean' and ' mean what they mean'

Red pill moment

When a Democrat or a liberal becomes a republican. Or starts voting republican. Or when a liberal becomes a libertarian before becoming a republican. The opposite would be a blue devil disaster

I don't know when Candace Owens and Tammy Bruce had their own red pill moment. A blue devil disaster is much more rare than a red pill moment.

b) someone who does not, under any circumstances, IMHO deserve his Miranda Rights, even if he is an American citizen

I do not see any difference between Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Timothy McVeigh and O.J. Simpson; all were terrorists and American citizens.

Dear Mr. Alan Dershowitz, I disagree with you on the punishment regarding Dzhokhar Tsarnaev; Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, IMHO needs to AFAP have (...) "his body torn apart by lupara blasts" in order to pay for his crimes and then suffer a Mussolini-string nearest the explosion site in Boston.

N.B: bonus points if you know where my reference concerning the "his body torn apart by lupara blasts" comes from :).
