A phrase used by chronically-online preteens as a way to absolve themselves of any wrongdoing from their behaviour online, often on sites such as twitter.

Often associated with stan-culture, most people who use this phrase are obsessed with one or more internet celebrity.

"OMG Generic Minecraft YouTuber did something!! I'm gonna post obsessively about it, and generally behave in a ravenous manner to those who have minor disagreements with me!"

Chosen name

A chosen name is a title/name that is preferred by a person, while not being a legal name. Chosen names are often used for nicknames, but have become popular with trans and non-binary individuals who feel their legal name does not suit their identity.

"My name is Robert, but I prefer to go by Bob, it's my Chosen name."
"Alrighty then, Bob."
