N.S.S. (North Side Soldiers)
A Detroit-based graffiti and street crew that emerged in the mid-2010s on the city’s North and Northwest Sides. Known for tagging, block-style graffiti, and neighborhood affiliation, N.S.S. was one of the early crews tied to the rise of the 5 Point Nation Crips alliance.
Over time, the crew splintered — some members evolved into what is now the Northside Gutta Ave Crips (NSC), while others continued repping the original N.S.S. name and legacy in their respective neighborhoods.

“Before some of them became Northside Gutta Ave Crips (NSC), they was N.S.S. (North Side Soldiers)—tagging walls and claiming blocks on the North End and West Side.”—Detroiter

26 Zone
Slang for Detroit’s Five Points neighborhood (ZIP 48219). Used by locals and street crews to represent their area, show neighborhood pride, or signal affiliation. The “26” comes from a Hyena Crips cipher: 2+6=8, linking to the 8th letter “H.” The Hyena Crips are Five Points’ most visible crew, use “26” and “26 Gang (26G)” as symbols of unity and territorial identity within the 5Points area.
“I keep seeing these YN’s claiming some new stuff called the ‘26 Zone,’ over by Seven Mile and Telegraph. They be talkin crazy too, like Five Points a warzone. I already know to stay clear of there, them mf’s got too much to prove.” — Detroiter

Hyena Crips Got Control (83GC)
Phrase and tag used by the Eighty-Three Gangster Crips (aka Hyena Crips) from Detroit’s Five Points area. It’s both a slogan and turf marker meaning their street crew runs or “got control” of the neighborhood.
“Every wall on Five Points says 83GC — that stands for Hyena Crips Got Control (83GC). The Hyenas really do run that whole side.”—Detroiter

Eighty-Three Gangster Crips (83GC)
Also known as the Hyena Crips or “83GC” (short for Hyena Crips Got Control). A small Crip-affiliated street crew from Detroit’s far northwest side, mainly around Five Points near Seven Mile and Telegraph. Known for tags like “83GC” and “ScoreGang” reppin their turf.
Seen more as a crew than a full gang — police note their graffiti and rivalries but little major violence tied to them.

“Yeah, them Eighty-Three Gangster Crips (83GC) be hittin’ walls all up Seven Mile — you can’t drive through Five Points without seein that 83GC tag.” — Detroiter

Tiny Laughers Krew (TLK)
A youth street group closely allied with 26Gang (26G)—both often ride under the “Baby Hyenas Gang” (BHG) identity, though they remain distinct groups. TLK leans more toward young adults, while 26G consists mostly of younger members. They’re active in Detroit’s Five Points neighborhood (ZIP 48219), especially around the 19900 blocks of Grandview, Winston, and Fenton near Fargo Street. Their turf runs roughly from Five Points (west) to Fenton (east) and Fargo (north) to Frisbee (south). They rep under the 5Point Nation (5PN) alliance and are known as the Hyena Crips’ (83GC) lil homies.
Manny: “Who them YNs that stay taggin up Five Points like that?”
KJ: “That’s Tiny Laughers Krew (TLK), the Hyena Crips lil homies. They outside for real dawg.”

wsdmgc73
A self-proclaimed street gang claiming 73 Gangster Crip ties, existing 100% online with no official street or law enforcement verification. Known for dropping diss tracks at crews that don’t know them, tagging social media with gang symbols, and flexing credibility—but their “gang activity” is mostly aspirational, internet-based, and stuck in old-school Cali lore they never actually lived.
“WSDMGC73 keeps posting videos like they run the block, but it’s just a digital flex—tags in a game, not the streets.”—Everyone with a Brain.

ws73gc
A mostly defunct Westside offshoot of the 73 Gangster Crips, once said to post near Florence & Vermont. Online chatter about a 2020s “resurgence” is pure cap—no street proof, no real presence. Their supposed beefs with major Crip sets are fantasy talk, and the whole “WSDMGC73” crew (Lady Dlow, Lil Dlow, YunKg Nk, 30kTorry aka 40k3Trazy) are just online actors running a dead script.
“WS73GC ain’t spinning blocks—it’s an online ghost set kept alive by cosplay Crips chasing clout.“—LA local
