A college student/graduate wif a hard tough "shell" dat is difficult to "crack" --- i.e., he is so "rigidly wrapped up" in his dusty boring books dat he cannot effectively interface wif da common man.
Faust was famously suffering from being a major macademia nut --- he'd learned a lot about a variety of literary subjects, but he didn't know da simple nuances of life, such as how to have fun or da ways of effectively communicating with people.

Portmanteau of the words, "squabble" and "quibble". Humorously used to mean grouching over petty stuff.
I got two rotten fruits in my bulk-produce purchase, but the items were all on sale and that particular store has always been exceptionally helpful and generous to me in the past, so I ain't gonna squibble about it.

Wearing a dress, applying heavy makeup, and keeping your face stubble-free is a good way to begin with your efforts to impurseonate a human of da fairer gender, but if you really wanna convincingly look like a woman, you might need to wear fake boobs in addition to carrying a shoulder-satchel.

What Jonathon Swift's "pygmies and giants" book should really be named, since you'd have to be outrageously naive to actually believe any of the crap that he relates.
If it would be possible to find someone who genuinely thought that the "Gullible's Travels" book was based on true events, you could likely also get him to swallow two additional "fanfic" chapters wherein the book's narrator also was able to assume ownership of the Brooklyn Bridge and establish a homestead in the Florida swamplands.

A type of inheritance-document which releases and distributes assets while the bequeather is "still with us"; particularly common among "unpopular" geezers with greedy impatient young heirs: said geezer fears that said heirs may conspire to "off him before his time" because they do not love or care for him personally, and so they just want him out of the way so they can get their grabby hands on his money sooner. So this kind of WILL may better insure that he can go on LIVING a while longer; it also allows him to monitor and stipulate how his money is being used, something he could not do after his death.
Seniors club member #1: You mean to tell me that you gave your nephews their inheritance money now?! How come?
Seniors club member #2: Oh, just a precaution in an effort to live longer --- a living will is cheaper than hiring a bodyguard!

I've always behaved myself "just 'cuz" --- i.e., merely due to the fact that my conscience says that I should --- and so I don't see why I should hafta study philawsophy in middle school! It seems wholly unnecessary when I was already planning to "be good" in any case, plus it makes me feel like it's insultingly implying that I am a simple-minded impressionable who needs to be TAUGHT how to be honest and honorable, rather than my already knowing right from wrong to being with.
