Pagan's Lent 

The period time between the last day of Mardi Gras and St. Patrick's Day when nonreligious people give up something, sometimes alcohol or drugs. A time for a brief body cleanse. Done to fulfill a spiritual need or to have something to share at work with friends and the more devout. Not meant to disparage actual pagans.
Phil: Hey do you want to go get some drinks and hit the clubs later;

Ralph: I'll go out but I'm not drinking for Pagan's Lent. I'll take a johnny though...
