People who practice sadism enjoy things like locking some black guy in a dungeon for trying a little dope and then letting a large corporation just casually poison that same guy's water supply.
Another popular sadist idea is spending people's tax dollars on causing as much pain as possible. The best way to do this is by raising the overblown US military budget so we can kill a bunch of people, all while cutting healthcare spending at the same time so that even more people can suffer and die from being poor.

A young adult (usually in their high-school/college years) who lives in a metropolitan are on the east coast (NoVa, Richmond, Boston, Harrisburg, ect) who fantasizes about taking a one-way “high speed” Amtrak train to live an intense fast paced meaningful life in NYC. Once they reach the city in a crescendo of 135 mph (Top Speed of Amtrak’s Acela Express) glory fueled by dunkin doughnuts coffee provided in any Amtrak Cafe Car, they usually come across an existential crisis as they realize The Big Apple isn’t all it’s cracked up to be anymore (high rents, all the cool stuff is gone or somewhere 40 minutes out in Bushwick, ugly condos everywhere, population shrinking again meaning the city has peaked) and then wind up back at home in 3 years tops.
Sam is a typical corridor kid. He left Richmond right after college for a dream job in New York, but came back after only 3 years. You can expect him to be living with a couple kids in a very mundane suburban environment for the rest of his life now that he finally got the big city out of his system.
