PowerWolf

PowerWolf are a German formed Power Metal band with influences from old Heavy Metal. They focus on the works of the bible but display their own storylines. Their latest album focuses on a Wolf sent to hell who fights to return to heaven.

They are not considered Christian Metal as they don't refer to Christian motives.

Their tempo is medium to slow and have powerful entwining lyrics with an epic singer. However they lack long-winded solos like most Power Metal bands.
Examples of PowerWolf's satanic/neutral religious outlook are included in their songs: "When the Moon Shines Red", "Saturday Satan", "Behind the Leathermask", "We Take it From the Living" and "Lupus Dei".

Dragonforce

A Power Metal band who are often criticised for their rise to success ironically after the appearance on Guitar Hero III. Some people hate them because they're too fast but metalheads show dislike to them due to their staged guitars. Herman Li has admitted to editing studio sessions and synthesizing notes.

Due to this, various Power Metal fans are arguing whether they "deserve" to be within the genre.
When performing live they are considerably worse than in the album. This infers that DragonForce do alter for better sounding.
