too smart for your own good 

1. Overconfident or cocky.

2. Believing that you know everything to the point to where it can harm you or work against you.

3. Assuming or Showing knowledge/intelligence to the point where it can harm you or work against you.

4. Believing that you know something you really don't, which could get you in trouble.

This can also mean too good for your own good or too big for your britches.
Don't be too smart for your own good. It has it's own way of catching up with you.

Most of the young and inexperienced is too smart for they own good.

Colored People's Time

1. Black-People Time, Black Folk time, BP Time, BPT, Colored People's Time, Colored-People Time, CP Time, or CPT.

NOTE: This is a stereotyping of African Americans/Black People as not punctual/frequently or constantly being late.

2. Time that is kept convenient to one person, but not another, especially in business or personal matters.
Why most people believe in colored people's time? When it comes to making a scene, hurting somebody or worse, most people don't?
1. If you have a fat mouth, you talk too much, especially about things that should be secret.

2. Someone that's very talkative, especially when boastful.

3. One that informs, especially against another/others.

4. Someone who talks too loud and boastful; whoride.
That chick's a fat mouth! Don't tell her anything!

fairweather family 

Someone who is family or acts like family when it's easy for them to be, them change on you when it's through thick and thin.
Family, most of the time, is fairweather family until provened innocent.

read between game 

1. To understand someone's real feelings or intentions from what they say and/or do.

2. To understand someone's object of attack or intentions of being grimy.
The best time to read between game is when people are too nice or too sweet.

rape file 

IN BRIEF: The Sex Offender Registry. It can also be called "the rape file."

A registration that's for people (sex offenders) that are convicted of sex crimes, like rape, molestation or sexual abuse, involving illegal sexual activity.
If you ask me, the rape file can ruin anyone.

getting treated like a stepchild

IN BRIEF: In most cases, getting treated unequally, unethically, unfairly or unjustly.

1. Receive inappropriate or limited care, respect, or attention.
Most people can't take getting treated like a stepchild.
