The courteous increase of one’s pace from a walk to a jog or sprint, ideally when moving faster will benefit another person/people who were being polite in the first place.
I saw the friendly truck driver letting me walk across the street even after the walk sign turned off so I picked up my pace and gave him a Gentleman’s Jog in return so he could quickly get on his way.

Kieran patiently held the door for Michael who was 20 feet away so Michael, being a stand up guy, kicked it in to 12th gear and returned Kieran’s favor with a Gentleman’s Jog. They passed through the door in a timely fashion, shook hands and parted ways.
