Twitter Blue
One of Elon Musks' first ventures after he became the CEO of Twitter. It's the first of many schemes to fuel his goal of monetizing Twitter and squeezing every last penny from it. It's a monthly (purported $8) subscription you pay to get premium Twitter features, which now includes being able to get the Blue Verified checkmark.
I would bet many people are getting Twitter Blue simply for the checkmark now, which completely nullifies its original purpose as a way of ensuring a well-known or honorable person's authenticity.
Basically, Twitter Blue is the equivalent to Discord Nitro, and the Verified checkmark would be demoted to the same function as having a Nitro badge, which means nothing other than the fact you bought their subscription.

Sus
A word that first became somewhat popular on the internet back in the late-2010s. I absolutely hated it when people said it back then, which was mostly used in relationship or private messaging contexts (e.g. girl texts her friend "this guy is sus"). But ever since among us became popular in 2020, the term took on a whole new identity. It still bore the same meaning, but now you can NEVER say this word without thinking about among us (and without causing others to think about it as well). It's literally infectious. Thank god.

Kombucha
A fermented fizzy tea drink where the flavors differs drastically from one brand to another. Like seriously, some taste absolutely awful while others have a pleasant beer-like aroma. Due to different bacteria strains, each one has its own distinct flavor so you can't really generalize kombucha (something I learned). You pretty much gotta sample each and every brand out there to know which one tastes the best. Once you found a good one, it serves as a nice and healthy alternative to carbonated soda.

Store brand
The superior brand choice for the enlightened masses. These enlightened individuals realize that name brands and store brands are literally one and the same. The only difference is that you're paying more for the label on the can, and only suckers and conformists fall for that. Organic brands, however, trump both store and name brands. Mainly self-actualized people buy organic brands.

TwitchCon 2022
The absolute worst TwitchCon event in the face of history. Everything was a disaster. Two people got severely injured after jumping into a poorly-padded ballpit. Twitch got two of the streamers' pronouns wrong and refused to correct it. Spaces were too overcrowded. And many of the attendees were generally lacking in common sense and respect for others, with some of them even stalking a CC into their hotels.

Ching chang chong
A very racist pejorative used against Asian (mainly Chinese) people, about as offensive as "chink" or even exceeding it. Has been used by uneducated folks for decades. Presumably its usage is declining cause, well, it's 2022. Get with the times.
