Often used in a derogatory way towards a male who thinks he's smarter than he actually is. You may well know his proper name

"Hold on a wee sec matey boy, when I went to school there were 52 weeks in a year."

Short for "Elvis Tribute Act" (mainly North America) where talented people have their hair like Elvis, dance, sing and dress like Elvis, in recognition and memory of the great man, who is now in Heaven.

Wasn't that last ETA great? It could have been Elvis himself!
