1. A female human who has lyncanthropy; the condition which causes the transformation into a Wolfman monster under a full-moon.

2. The female variant of the gender-neutral "Wolfman" or the masculine "Werewolf" monsters.

Etymology: From the Old English "Wīf" (meaning "female human") + "Wolf".

"Hey is that girl a werewolf?"
"No. She changes into a wolf not a wer."
"What?"
" 'Were' in werewolf means male-human. She's a Wifewolf."
