Automatic transmissions are for people who enjoy the finer things in life. People who drive manuals are generally the poorer in the population, and people who drive automatics, are generally richer. If this is not the case, can you explain why 99% of luxury cars and near enough all modern day sports cars are automatic, or if not, semi-automatic? Also automatic transmissions are the future, look at what we have now - Audi's DSG gearbox, which is a cluchless manual!

This is a car transmission that allows the driver to switch the transmission between fully automatic, or manual. Obviously it is a clutchless manual. This gearbox is the future.
Audi is the latest to create the world's finest 'tiptronic' gearbox, and it's called 'DSG', which stands for 'Direct Shift Gearbox'. This allows the driver to change gear using the 'tiptronic' setting faster than any driver in the world would using a manual transmission. Also you can change gear on the steering wheel, as seen in F1.

A small town in North West England. Suffered years of decline, but in recent years has seen regeneration and is becoming a rather desirable place to live. Filled with Burnley fans and the occasional bastard rovers fan, also contains quite a few man united wannabe fans. Historic town which contains a Roman Fort and was a strongholding on the way up to Skipton and eventually, the Roman Capital, York.
