In the YouTube Shorts part of YouTube they are typically videos under 45 seconds.
Kids attentions spans are decreasing so they quickly swipe down instead of viewing the video.
So, to get more views, channels will show the content of the video, in addition to an extra video, often Subway Surfers of Minecraft Parkour.
Attention Spans still decrease so channels make weirder videos and catch onto weird trends to get views.
The wars are began by shorts becoming worse and worse as they compete with eachother as our attention spans worsen.
