Odds predicting extremely unlikely results or events, like rainfall in deserts, or odds predicting one particular result among countless (an astronomical amount of) other possibilities, e.g., a lottery.

The astronomical odds predicting the remote chance of a meteorite crashing into your home are no cause for concern.
