The idea that men and women are equal and should have equal rights and social standards. This is often twisted into man-hating, however, it is not. If you do not agree with feminism then you are sexist.
Boy: “I think men and women should be treated equally”
Girl: “oh so you agree with feminism? That’s great!”

Double standard
When someone has a twisted idea of what’s right or wrong for a certain gender to do, while believing it is okay for the other gender.
Boy: “She should shave her legs it’s gross”
Girl: “but you have leg hair so I guess that makes you gross. That’s a stupid double standard to follow.”
